Wpegg! How nice to see you again~! ^__^ 2000 days, wow~!
"something that's amusing, something that's inspiring, something that's terrifying, and something that's depressing."
My great grandma should fit the bill nicely~! XD
Isabelle was a feisty woman, with eyes that glowed with mirth and a contagious love for life. She was
also a randy old gal with a fine-tuned sense of humor, and "naughty" (but not "dirty") seemed to always be the order of the day~
Not long after I got married, Grandma gave me a book. Oh yes, you guessed it.
That kind of book! "Now honey be sure to try what's on page 54, it really works!"
Every time I talked to her on the phone, she reminded me. "Did you try it yet? It's really great!"
Me, internally:
Nooooooooooooooo~! Mahahaha XD Oh my gosh, she was such a hoot~! She used to tell my dad that she really needed a bed warmer... Preferably blond and 24. *snicker*
Isabelle lived to a ripe old age of 93, dying of cancer not long after meeting her first great-great grandchild. I still miss her, but whenever the topic comes up, we all have fun tales to tell about our grandma, who never met anyone that she didn't like.
PS - Yes, I still remember what was on page 54, and no, I won't tell you what it said. ;D
