Leroux: So the "strategy" in it is neglectable and wouldn't get in the way for someone who is easily bored or intimidated by actual strategy games? I take it it's hard to screw up in these minigames? Or can it happen that you'd have to start an entire chapter from scratch, including having to repeat all the battles, just because you happened to suck at resource management?
Oh yeah, the "strategy" is very light, very casual. Indeed I don't think you can screw up. You may make things more or less difficult, I suppose, like losing or gaining a companion, or missing or gaining "ability cards" (or weapons), or, maybe, losing time, but I'm not sure there's any deadend possibility. I have played it a bit long ago, but i think the risks are mostly on some aspects of the narration branching.

The chapters get a ranking, too, depending on how well, how thoroughly you completed them (with possible weapon rewards). If I remember well, this is mostly based on what events you triggered on the strategy level. So you can always try to re-do a chapter for completion sake, later. But it's never a big deal.

Licurg: The Suffering is one of the best action horror games ever made. The graphics haven't aged very well, but if that's not a problem, then you should buy it.
The graphics don't look all that bad to me, I think I could deal with that. I'll consider buying it, but maybe during one of the next sales, preferably. Thanks!
