It used to be here along with Arma Gold and Arma 2, but unfortunately Bohemia Interactive removed them all when they switched to using Steamworks for the multiplayer instead (due to Gamespy's closure).

The first Operation Flashpoint was actually once available here for a while, but was removed due to a legal dispute between the developer and the publisher. It was later rereleased here as ArmA: Cold War Assault and was removed once again (for a not particularly clear reason). Currently, it's only available through Steam and Gamesplanet.de.

Edit: Ninja'd.

The reason the ArmA games were removed was because they used GameSpy for multiplayer and ArmA is a massively popular multiplayer game so that was very important. They added Steam multiplayer and put it on Steam because that was the easiest way to put it back on the market. GOG didn't have any solution at the time so it wasn't an option here.

In order for us to see the ArmA games come back here, Bohemia would need to decide it is a worthwhile investment of engineering resources to add GOG Galaxy multiplayer to the games, or alternatively to decide there is a big enough market for single-player ArmA to bring it back here single-player only and that the backlash from people buying it for multiplayer that don't notice it is single-player only wont be large.

Yeah, basically never.
Wait... ArmA is Operation Flashpoint?
Hmmm, didn't know that.

God I hated that game, could never figure out what the hell was going on XD

Still be nice to have it here, though I kind of doubt they'd bother bringing it back.

ArmA: Cold War Assault is Operation Flashpoint:

ArmA/ArmA2/ArmA3 are all later games in the series.

Well, yes and no. Though they fill a similar niche, ArmA is actually a separate series of games, which Bohemia Interactive started because they lost the trademark on Operation Flashpoint. But while they didn't retain Operation Flashpoint's name, they did, however, still have the rigths to the actual game and two of its expansions. As a result, in order to be able to sell them, the game was renamed to 'ArmA Cold War Assault'.

In other words, it was retroactively turned into a part of the series, but it was originally a completely separate game.

ARMA Cold War Assault is inferior to Operation Flashpoint GOTY edition. You can play only American campaign and Resistance campaign. It has no Soviet Campaign. It is possible to add Soviet campaign to ARMA:CWA by copying 2 files to it's folder (get them from OF:GOTY or internet), but it is buggy as hell (scripting problems): a couple of missions are almost impossible to finish.
Which Operation Flashpoint are you referencing? The original one? If so, which wishlist entry? This one:

Or this one?

The second one claims completion, but that was a while ago (I should have picked it up when I had the chance).

Or, do you mean Red River, which looks good too:

I loved Operation Flashpoint, but I love Arma 2 even more. Graphics arn't everything but in the case of military simulations, I think higher graphical fidelity and calculations for physics and stuff is even better. I would be a bit more interested in Arma 3 and 4 rather than feeling the need to go back to the first one personally. But that's just me.

And actually Arma 2 was so thorough I don't really feel the need for more military operations for awhile, but again, that's just me.
I'd like to see a complete version of Flashpoint again. If bloody Bohemia could work something with Codemasters to get the rights for the Red Hammer expansion, that would be nice...But they seem not to wish that. I am envious for the people that got Operation Flashpoint GOTY on GOG, i really am...
