The last time thewaybackmachine visited that index page in the vault was January 18 2005, at which time it had been downloaded 787 times.

They don't have the file - that would have been too easy - but the filename may have been ValortheJeSteR1072820421593VtJMotT0TaD.zip. Perhaps that helps.

Vitek: If you find it feel free to re-upload it to new Vault and post link here. I wouldn't be opposed to trying it.
Sure thing. :) Let's hope I find it!

It's another clue! :D
Thanks.

A similar thing happened to me and my old web guru actually had a copy of my most recent module. It was a very nice day.

I'll keep my eyes out for it.

Sachys: I think Tallima does NWN stuff... is it Tallima?! Might be Tallima.

Tallima?!
I do, but this one is needle in the haystack style. I'm still looking, but I doubt it's out there. It's just too far gone to be found, I'm afraid.
You could try asking on the rpgcodex.net site - they have a "Neverwinter Nights (NWN & NWN2) Modules Thread" that's stickied on the front page of the RPG Discussion forum:

http://www.rpgcodex.net/forums/index.php?threads/neverwinter-nights-nwn-nwn2-modules-thread.34529/

If it's still available anywhere, someone there may be able to point you in the right direction.

Best of luck in your search!
One of the favourable comments on the page archived by thewaybackmachine (that I linked to above) has an e-mail address listed. It's a hotmail address from twelve years ago so it would be a small wonder if it still reaches someone, but who knows. I know I would have kept a module that I liked enough to comment on.

Yep, already did that, but thanks for the suggestion! No reply, yet.

Thank you. The codex, eh... I might. I'm too scared of the codex tbh. :)

I posted on that Codex thread and some kind soul posted a request on the NWN vault and the Bioware forum for me. Fingers crossed. This request is now on reddit, on the Codex, here, on the new vault and the Bioware NWN forum.
Sawark @ the new Neverwinter Vault found an archive of version 2.0 of the module (3.0 was the last version I uploaded, so this was an older one) page, again with no downloadable module but this this with a working README.txt so if you're interested you can read it here:

https://web.archive.org/web/20040417040944/http://nwvault.ign.com/Files/transfer/modulereadme/ValortheJeSteR08Mages_of_the_Toast_1_READ_ME.txt

It appears I later renamed the module to Chapter 0, while at version 2.0 it was still Chapter 1.

Also, I didn't even remember "VINJA-GEIGER" productions or why the heck I named my "studio" that. Cool. I'm getting so old. So old. :D
From the README:

Hopefully, version 2.0 will remain the LAST version of this module, unless I am forced to update it due to a NWN patch incompatibility.
Did a NWN patch incompatibility occur? If not, why did you decide to make another version of the module (3.0)?

Can't remember really, but from what I've written on the comments section of the archived page for version 3.0, this seems to be the changelog:

MotT0 - Version 3.0

• Some changes and additions in the documentation text
• Added a couple of NPCs and toyed with a bunch of items
• A lot of fixes and additions in the adventure text and its layout
• Minor changes in the ‘look and feel’ of the adventure
• Completely redone the introduction and finale videos - yes, AGAIN.
I'll be giving this a bump every week or couple of weeks or so... hope it's not a bother, thanks.
That thread makes me wish I could send younger NWN fanatic me a message to get that mod and put it into one of the million safety USB drives to be forgotten and remembered when the time is right. :(

I wish you luck with the recovery!

Or you could just message younger me and tell me not to take it down from the Vault. :D
Thank you.
Bumping this and wondering why my previous post was "low rated" for asking a question.
