Darvond: Compared to losing options, control, stylizing, and will of updates vs Windows. Compared to one note gimmick distros or LTS of LTS models.
Compared to Windows any Linux distro has its benefits (and downsides). My point was that Fedora is an odd choice for a gaming-focused application... but to each his own. It will certainly work for this purpose as well.

Knowing the Linux ecosystem and the skillful nutjobs who are part of it, I'm sure there's a distro with an "Enterprise" skin/desktop environment out there already. Engage!
