For the first time EVER so called "old" music is out-selling new "artists". Catalogue albums - "old music" - outsold current releases by almost 5 million copies! And that doesn't even include streams which they're no doubt leaving out just to cover up how bad the situation is for them. The global corporate music industry run mainly form New York and Los Angeles seems obsessed with promoting insane, dumbed down weirdness and degeneracy and more and more people are turning away in disgust from the constant stream of soulless garbage that the corporate record labels are pushing.

Over the past 15 years this really seems to have ramped up with current music videos openly promoting pederasty, every identity disorder (real or madeup) and other weird sh*t nobody likes. WIth fewer and fewer "artists" promoted being real musicians, the acts now seem to be mostly weird LA/NYC concoctions designed to push bizarre socio-political agendas. Prime examples such as Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, Lil Wayne and of course Miley Cyrus to name but a few make it obvious why people are turning to a music that more often reflects their own values and not the degenerate trash that run the music industry.
