Hi everyone,
I am a bit at a loss. I bought two Mac Games on GOG ages ago, with my now ex-husbands account. (It is Star Trek 25th Anniversary and Star Trek Judgment Rites.) Back then I used a now pretty old MacBook Air.
I found the two games on an old backup drive and copied them on my new Mac. They won't start. When I go through the app resources, it either opens as a dialog window that the App is not compatible with the current macOS version and needs to be updated. Or it says in the terminal window when I start the GOGLauncher from the app resources that
"The application cannot be opened for an unexpected reason, error=Error Domain=NSOSStatusErrorDomain Code=-10386 "(null)" UserInfo={_LSLine=3863, _LSFunction=_LSOpenStuffCallLocal}"
Unfortunately I can't just download the two games again. I used my ex-husbands account to buy them, which I now obviously don't have access to anymore. Before I spend the money again, is there any way of updating the game files? Or is there another work-around?
Thank you so much!
(ps I finally made my own GOG account. yeah!)
