If the old 8 bit & 16 bit games were remade today, to work on modern PC computers, what games would you wish for?
To clarify, I'm talking about the Spectrum, C64, Amstrad, etc era.

For example:

I'd love to play Mikie on modern computers

Rocky Horror Show

Sergeant Seymour

Treasure Island

The Trap Door

Popeye

What games would YOU like to play on modern PC's?
Please name the game, and give some kind of reference link (YouTube, MobyGames etc)
Centauri Alliance, and I would like the interface to be improved to be more responsive and less cumbersome, and I would like the game's rather significant bugs fixed.
Well, why not make wishlist entries?
Because these are old Spectrum games - PC versions have never been made. And GOG only sells PC games.

That's the whole point of this thread. From the games you loved as a child, on old computers, which games would you want to see converted from Spectrum\Amstrad\C64, into PC versions?

As someone who was born after the Berlin Wall fell, I was raised well into the era long after most home computer brands had failed to adapt to a slowly changing market and therefore died.

A lot of them actually have, e.g. Dizzy games. Also, pop on over to world of spectrum and voila there is all the spectrum games, just need an emulator. As for remaking them, is it worth it, maybe as a learning exercise. There are lots of retro attempts and almost all fail spectacularly.

Do you specifically want that inferior Spectrum version to be ported to modern PCs? Wouldn't the original arcade game be better?

Most of your examples seemed to be old arcade coin op ports, and frankly I personally am not that interested in seeing remakes of them on modern machines. The reason is this:

Sinistar Unleashed was a pretty nice remake of an old arcade classic though, but then naturally it played quite differently as it was moved from 2D to 3D in the process:

Maybe I'm not explaining things clear enough?

This is NOT about emulators, or games that have already been remade.
This is about 'Wouldn't it be good if that game I loved as a kid could suddenly work on my PC'.
It's about wishful thinking.
