I use Virual pc t run "civilization".l dNot lety it on internert, just use some X[p profile i downloaded. try and error for a good version) I use Microsoft test win11 free on virtiual pc to get win 11 in virtual pc on a protedcted surrounding withoutn internet , sio it is all safe to use for old games. xp and win 11 /10 free surrioundings are all safe for several;great old games ames. as you will have nioticed "comquest of the new world" and" Civilization are great engines. Civiuilization still worked on win 10, with no adjustments. Thats how strong and erroprfree the engines could be in DOS and from there in windows up to win 11

Ignoring you having a stroke.....I think you want a few old games, on Android?

Any old game for DOS can probably used with Magic DOSBox. But I have only used a different dosbox....which I cannot even remember the name, as it was a long time ago.

Maybe Turbo DOSBox?

You can buy some old games and take the files out. Then add them to a android device to tinker with. Pretty sure people on forum will tell you if certain games are possible. Civ should be.

In fact, Ill ask for you.


Anyone know if Civ plays in Android via DOSbox? Maybe any other wrapper?

Yes i like a lot of GOG DOS games ( LOL, CNW , CIVILization, etc) and i think they will be prety well on android systems , So i would like to see a dosbox for androyd. i like LOL div. version s. CIV Cotnw, etc. good games. love to see them on adroid. Much better thehj the currwenrt android rubbish. Isrt there any progress? in modulatings?

I apologize, I have the original game from the 90s. I thought the game is sold on gog.

Options for you:

1- Old game files --> usb device--> Android device; install DOS emulator(Magic DOSBox, Turbo DOSBox)

2- Modern Windows 7, 10, 11 or Linux.
FreeCiv = free fan created

Only option for Android would be to build from source code(also free). But best option is the Android emulators. Good luck!

Google translate does a much, much better job, without all the misspellings and weird use of caps. Next time, use Google translate. I believe it can translate from Drunk to English.
