After searching for similar posts, i noticed mainly a lot of posts from 2021 handling this specific topic. Even read something about Australians being left out of these types' of verification methods? Is this still a thing?

I do realize codes tend to come in late now and then, though usually within 15 mins of the request. This specific request was made about 2 hours ago. I'm curious to see when it will arrive.

The solution was simple. I tried to log in, in disguise, triggering the verification process. Disabling the hide and seek function was the answer. Alternatively, i could have used galaxy to gain the much-needed access to the fora!

There seem to be more oddities today. When i posted, i could not find the post anywhere on the forum. It did not display proper and i thought i made an error, forgot to press the 'post' button or something else befitting an odd day. But here it is... Weird!

Does anyone know what could lie at the heart of these seemingly very personal problems. Is this something on my end creating obstruction or something?

Still no sign of any mails btw, including the verification code.

For whatever it's worth: I clicked on your thread, shortly after you had posted it (it showed "posted 3 minutes ago"), and when I returned to the main GD, your thread was not visible, anymore.
It did show up (again) around 15 minutes later.

I guess, it's something like when you post a comment, but that comment doesn't show up immediately.
Just another hiccup in GOG's system.

Somehow, this even makes it worse!

the struggle to keep oddities at bay remains real.

1st a minor one that required a system reboot before galaxy could be persuaded to show my new little game.
2d a message ingame that based on my hardware graphics are set to low now i know i have not the most modern of systems in my hand but you know, when you payed more then a 1000 euro's for a gpu and your motherboard and cpu combined were also around a 1000 euro's . . . in 2021. . . you'd expect more..... Phah!!

If it doesn't, you can use this link to refresh your account. https://www.gog.com/account/refresh

If it shows up in your library but not in Galaxy, you can manually refresh things in Galaxy by clicking on the cog icon in the upper left corner of GOG GALAXY and select “Sync integrations.” Check your account and make sure that the email address is correct: https://www.gog.com/en/account/settings/security

Otherwise I'd follow the advise on this page, which also has a link to contact support if nothing else works.
