dtgreene: The Wizardry 1 remake's offline installer is behind. Apparently, version 0.3 is out, but the offline installer is still on 0.2.2, which lacks important features like an in-game ability to back up saves.
It's already on the list. Actually 0.3.1 is the latest Galaxy build.

FulVal: Outlaws: Galaxy version has a file missing (so no musics), offline version works fine

WinterSnowfall: Please take this up with GOG Support to hopefully get it corrected, otherwise it risks propagation to the offline installer at some point.
Already contacted last year without success... They say that is caused by my antivirus, but is not true

WinterSnowfall:
Can assume that something that silly as the Jedi Academy update was a legal requirement.
Otherwise, yeah, consistency would be good... I guess it could be done the other way around then, make the version number update but with a clear very visible notification that version X contains only Galaxy-related changes and if you don't use Galaxy with the game, it's bit for bit identical to version Y except the version number and no update is necessary. It'd still catch out those who use scripts to automatically keep their library up to date, but...

...whats up with Jedi Ademy?

Shmacky-McNuts: ...whats up with Jedi Ademy?
The offline installer got updated only to include some TM symbols in its name.
Since I looked more into details for some of the games I previously reported, decided to check again Tesla Effect and Darksiders III just to be sure. They are, indeed, the same on both Galaxy and offline installers (only Galaxy related files changed).

Thanks again! I've incorporated all your feedback adding some manual exceptions and refreshed the list today.
The Wizardry 1 remake finally had its offline installer updated, so it's up to date, at least for now.

Wizardry: Proving Grounds of the Mad Overlord offline installer was less than a month behind the Galaxy build. It was probably just because of the holidays that it took that long at all. I know it's frustrating if you're waiting for the update, but these are the kind of entries which will be automatically updated every 2-4 weeks.

5. Your list is outdated!

I plan to refresh it roughly once every two weeks (up to a month, when life gets otherwise hectic) so do expect stale data to creep especially into the more recent entries. The general goal here is to track long-time offenders, not to provide an always in-sync list of discrepancies.

I mean... I just updated the list yesterday, and Wizardry is no longer on there, so that means it did indeed get fixed :P. Going forward however, yes, expect less frequent updates and things potentially lagging behind a bit.
It seems offline installers for Galactic Civilizations II: Ultimate Edition were updated recently. Tested them and now they seem to be the same as the Galaxy build, so hopefully the game won't appear on the list next time it gets refreshed.

Watch this space over the weekend ;).

We're down to 92 discrepancies this week, which is good (I'm used to a bit over 100 on average). Newer titles seem to be kept in check. It's a pity there are still a lot of older abandoned entries, with updates stuck in Galaxy-land.
