Hey, I wanted to know if I download the game files is there a way to get my saves that I have on GOG for a game or do they come with the files when I download it through my account on gog's website? (adding an attachment so youre sure what Im talking about)

Backup installers only include the game as provided by the developer/publisher. No saves or other user specific files.

No, GOG Galaxy and the offline files handles the saves differently. Unless you've changed something or turned cloud saves off, yuo should get full control via this link: https://www.gog.com/account/cloud-saves. This way you can save and move them to wherever the offline game normally has its save files.

Or you can download them through Galaxy: https://support.gog.com/hc/en-us/articles/18730324957213-How-do-I-back-up-my-cloud-saves?product=gog. Where they will download to, if through Galaxy, largely depends on where you installed Galaxy, but typically C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG Galaxy\..

The installer installs the game. It has nothing to do with save files. To download a backup copy of your cloud saves, go to the game's Extras tab in GOG Galaxy and scroll down to the bottom.

The Manage your cloud saves page accessible from a web browser only lets you delete cloud saves, not download them.

The only way you can download the save files is if you install the GOG Galaxy client. In there you have the option to download/backup the files. But this only works for games who have "cloud saves" as a feature (see picture attached, as example).

EDIT: the guys above already gave good advice.
