I bought a gift for a friend and it never arrived, so I contacted today customer service (24th).
What do you think are the odds my friend will get the game for Christmas? I suppose quite low, right? shall we wait for a Christmas miracle? :D

GOG's support actually does work during the weekends. However, I'm unsure about the major holidays. Hopefully, things will work out well in the end for you. What is the name of the game that you trying to buy as a gift? Perhaps someone could help. ^_^

You could try the "resend gift code" option on https://www.gog.com/account/settings/orders

or you could just copy and paste the code manually and send them to your friend email yourself

Off topic:
I wrote my own email address for every gift I bought on GOG.
After I got the redeem code, I sent it to the person that I really want to give.

I must be blind as a mole, I was looking for this and I didn't see it >.<

bit sad tho as I wrote a nice note for the email and I did not save it anywhere :( That it seems wise now, I might start to do it too from now on :)
