so over the past few years, many games have glitches but what are some of the funniest ones you've seen
Only two days ago Cyberpunk wouldn't let me put on pants... or a shirt... (jacket was possible)... wtf...

Ok F5->F9 fixed that.. was fearing I would be known as the notorious flasher of Night CIty... xD

The most hilarious thing I've seen (at a friend's place) was the Corrupted Blood Incident in WoW.

I love digging up humorous patch notes. The Sims 3 was notorious for having a ton of hilarious ones.

Here's a recent one from Endzone A World Apart:
Diseases: Diseases no longer spread while the game is paused.

Stardew Valley 1.4.1:
Vincent now loves snails.
(The above change was made to make the game mechanics match the dialog/characterization.)

Fell Seal 1.4.0:
Arena: One enemy had 2 body armors equipped in one of the bouts. Fixed!

Tropico 6:
Fixed issue where Tropicans could get stuck at bus stops due to bus driver also waiting for bus

Galaxy 1.2.47:
Fixes for DX 11 Games allowing us to enable Overlay support for the following games: Civilization V
(We still don't have Civilization 5 on GOG!!!)

Sims 3:
TONS of them. Here's a randomly-selected YT video on the topic: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4nxsCZ2SEcQ

you may no longer try for baby with the grim reaper
Endzone just patched again:
Settlers: Fixed a bug where settlers of certain professions wouldn't die of old age for a long time, as they were too busy fulfilling their tasks.

That reminds me of the one librarian my university had... "I'm too busy (making people miserable) to die."

ouch
Temple of Elemental Evil- About half way through the game I returned to the town and found exact replicas of my entire party standing there already. The only difference being they were from earlier in the game- so much lower level. That was really funny until I realized that the game also swapped out my entire party for the lower level ones permanently, meaning all levels and equipment lost. I never found a way to go back to town for the remainder of the game without this happening.

Kingdom Come Deliverance- not really a bug, but more an oversight in programming- but early in the game I knocked out a town guard and stole all his clothes and weapons to sell. For the rest of the game he patrolled town in his underwear like nothing was wrong.

And don't even get started on the early World of Warcraft days.

Classic. I did the same in Oblivion, with similar results. :-)

Also in one of my playthroughs I got into an all out battle with the guards of Leyawiin which ended in a huge showdown in the town square... the bodies stayed there forever, with townfold passing them by every day like it was nothing. "City of Corpses" I had dubbed it then...

What level do you need to beat that guard captain with the gold-trimmed armor? When I role-played as Godzilla on PS3 (heavily-armored Argonian boxer with fireballs for days), he was the one guy who just wouldn't stay down OR shut up, even when I lured him deep underwater.

I don't remember, but I played with OOO anyway. I really wouldn't want to play Oblivion unmodded.
Age of Empires 2 :The Conquerors had a some minor ones. They were so well documented because the game remained unpatched for a long time while modders messed around with it. Some of them I remember:

1.Scout bug / scout ghost bug: when a scout cavalry kills a villager, the player of the killed villager can know the position of the enemy scout by clicking the idle villager button. Creepy because its like the ghost of the dead vill is haunting the scout.

2.Fervor tech bug: it doesn't work. It was supposed to make monks move 15% faster but it didn't work. Everyone was researching it based on the placebo for 10+ years

3.Camels are ships: not really a bug, but in the database of the game camel units were classed as ships, which made them take a ton of anti-ship damage from buildings in addition to their weaknesses as cavalry and led to them not being used for raiding for years. Techs that increased buildings' damage vs ships also increased their damage vs camels. Despite being declassified now, camels are still pretty weak and situational.
When it comes to funny patch notes, Crusader Kings produces some truly comical results. Just look up "funny crusader kings patch notes".

As for glitches, my favorite ones are those pertaining to physics. Ragdoll flipping out, something getting stuck and spasming violently etc.
