I doubt any German could reach the age to play W3 without having had enough English in school to make themselves understood.
Rude laziness or lazy rudeness is more likely.

Well, I've met a few Germans who couldn't (or refused to) speak English, so I know it happens.

But these kinds of threads piss me off. It's also true that I'm feeling kind of cranky to begin with. I should probably take a few days break from the forum, but I keep opening the tab by muscle memory.

Unlikely, but not impossible. I know quite a few people my age or a little younger who know almost no English at all. And afaik there are still some schools who prefer French over English, although it's rare.

Refusing to speak the lingua franca of the forums and a large part of the world is just rude and foolish IMO.
It isn't great that the general discussion forum has been becoming more and more of a cesspit of annoying threads ;)

He's posted this across into the German part of the forum now and the title is still in English. xD

Maybe he's like 80 years old and just built his first gaming PC. :)
Still, even if he's 20 years old it's not impossible that he doesn't understand English.

Edit: You see, it's not unlikely that a person old enough to legaly purchase W3 doesn't know English because there are a lot of ederly people who don't know English. Of course, it is really unlikely that such an old person would play W3..
