Hey, Ive been trying to get the games Zeus & Posiedon, Zork Grand Inquisitor, Arx Fatalis, and Journey Man Project 3 Legacy of Time. (the four games I tested) seem to have broken, Zeus cannot show the opening cinematic anymore (this also happens in my Sim Coaster game), Arx Fatalis has NO text showing at all (Anti-Aliasing is NOT being forced), and Zork Grand Inquisitor has no cursor untill you go to the top of the screen for those options and a small but noticible graphical glitch in the upper left corner. TJMP3 just doesn't show ANYTHING except that box I see in Zork.

Another game affected is Sim City 3000 Unliimited, with no graphical selection of game modes, and no text and user interface. Example.

I just wanted to bring this up, or to get help from other people to see if I can troubleshoot these problems.

Does these games use dosbox as an emulator? It may be a dosbox incompatibility issue.
If you have Geforce Experience installed, try to uninstall it.
Just uninstalled it, still no difference.

Nope, DosBox games actually run fine.

Installing an older version of the drivers, to see if it truly is the new driver. The games run fine on my laptop which has a nvidia driver though an extremely weak one...

I can now confirm that 357.52 DOES break the game, I installed the december verison and all the games are running fine now.

Not sure what you've got going on. I've got the 357.52 driver installed along with the GeForce Experience and Zeus plays the opening cinematic fine. Zork: Grand Inquisitor shows the cursor fine. Don't have your other two games. Guess if its working that's good enough.
Hi OP,

Please send us a Support ticket, or two, with your DXDiag attached so we can better investigate the problem :)

Also, where are you seeing 357.52? I went to Nvidia's page to see if these were beta drivers and all I could find was 347.52. :)

Yes, accidentally mis-typed the version number. And I did it on the support ticket as well I bet.

Hence why we ask for the DXDiag :)
Maybe they meant 347.52. That is the version that mine patched to last week

edit:

Sometimes I just can not type fast enough

True, should I reinstall the 347.52 and rerun the diagnostic, I sent in using the 347.09 drivers, since that seemed to fix most (zork is still acting up) games.

I suppose, if you are up to it :) You can also mention the exact driver version when replying. Up to you as I don't want to make you install and uninstall stuff all day :)

I'll hold off then, if they cant figure out why it would be a problem with the 347.09 version, I'll re-install the driver and do a Dxdiag again and send those results as well.
