tremere110: I hope we get the Genesis Order here (the next game in the series).
This has already been confirmed. The only question left is "when".

ᛞᚨᚱᚹᛟᚾᛞ: 1) GOG is playing with legal fire by not separating these into a separate systematic grouping which requires age verification.
Wrong because you need to be of age to even have an account on GOG and you won't be able to see anything explicit if you don't buy the game.

ᛞᚨᚱᚹᛟᚾᛞ: Many of the games/releases are low quality drivel, such that they're not even performant as Megaman Sprite Game or Shut Up and Jam Gaiden. To translate, if they get outdanced by free games, why should I deign to give them money?
Quality often lies in the eye of the beholder. You said yourself that you don't like them so maybe you are biased? Does not mean that others don't enjoy them. If you don't think they are worth their money that is totally fine since nobody is forcing you to spend money on them just let others decide by themselves if they see it the same way.

Anyway: This is the only reply I will give you. This and a warning: If you don't stop derailing the conversation I will report you for doing so.

Seriously? "Don't stop derailing"? He made one post. One post. And it is on topic of the games in this sale. And in reply to BreOl72, but somehow I don't see you threatening to report his bait. Your obsessive need to defend the porn games from any kind of criticism every single time is one thing, but threatening to report people just because you don't like what they're saying - that's low.

Going to ask here since no one posted in the Amatsutsumi forum.
For people who own the VN game can they add the unrated patch from gog to their library and it works?
As i've seen one person mentioning that the unrated patch doesn't get added to the library for some reason in the reviews mentioned by PSW560.
I am not gonna buy it this time since i am waiting to see the price of rimworld anomaly, but i may buy it in the future.

Well that's just sad.

I don't own the game, so I can't give a definite answer. But when one is unable to put something in the cart, it normally means they are in a region where the content is blocked.

Oh i forgot that could be the problem. Anyway thanks for answer.

ᛞᚨᚱᚹᛟᚾᛞ: Hi there. I'm one of the NSFW naysayers here. The only reason I head to release threads and dunk on them is because of two reasons:
1) GOG is playing with legal fire by not separating these into a separate systematic grouping which requires age verification.
2) Many of the games/releases are low quality drivel, such that they're not even performant as Megaman Sprite Game or Shut Up and Jam Gaiden. To translate, if they get outdanced by free games, why should I deign to give them money?

The marquee titles here, though some are lacking for titillation in cases (the low review ratings suggest so), rise above most of the lines I have to qualify them by. Even if Huniepop is filled with questionable stereotypes, and Huniepop 2 is the Punch-Out of racial stereotyping (at best). (Plus there's that whole "Polly" situation, handled about as carefully and respectfully as helping a bear out of a beartrap by placing three more beartraps around it's feet.)
Geez, keep telling yourself you're fighting the "good" fight.....

Wow. Never thought this theme would be so ... boring.

All of them are like the ancient hentai-games, 90% are anime-guhrls, and all anime-games you can only F some underage schoolguhrl, or the teacher.

It's not the fault of GoG of course - I blame the developers. They are all sus.
I somewhat agree, all that anime stuff is only for true anime fans I guess. It may not be 90%, but it's probably close to it.

But there are good ones as well. There are some good VNs like Being a DIK or some of the Inceton games (not Inside Jennifer, that's quite bad) and House Party of course is one of the more original games. I don't know any other game that goes in that direction. There's also two JRPGs - non anime style - that aren't half bad.
What I really miss on GOG - as flawed as it may be - is Bonecraft however or more point & click adventures like Jerry Wanker.
What I do miss in these kind of sales is a way to filter out the anime. I think I do like NSFW games, I've already bought some (yet they're all still in the backlog), but I don't like the anime art style at all. But searching this sale for non-anime takes going through 322 games on sale to find the maybe 10% that's non-anime. A filter would be much easier.

I would absolutely love an option to permanently hide all anime stuff, porn or otherwise. I absolutely despise the anime look, and the vast number of anime games now on GOG has really made browsing the store not just more tedious because of all the games I have absolutely zero interest in and wouldn't pick up even for free, but also just aesthetically unpleasant.

Fixing the tags and introducing a way to permanently hide/ignore games is desperately needed.

Desperately needed and ignored for years. But i guess we gotta sell that shit, regardless if you want to see it or not? And that includes all games, not only porn shit, as hiding certain tags would only benefit customers.

But i guess there are other priorities, right?
