Breja: I had no idea I should have some master plan and a set goal behind every post. Is that in the new Code of Conduct?
Again, you can do whatever you want. I am not a forum mod and I don't plan on complaining about your posts to a mod as long as I don't get insulted. My question was honestly just curiosity since for me it would be too much effort to post in every thread of games I dislike THAT I dislike them. If you think it is worth the effort that is fine by me.

In opposite to several others I don't have problems in ignoring things I dislike so posts like "This is trash" and "GOG will go down" and "We will all die because curation has hit rock bottom" can easily be ignored by me too. In the past I tried to explain things to people since (actually playing some of these games) I was sure that they just don't know what they are talking about but I gues I have reached those worth reaching already and it is a bit exhausting going in circles telling people that they should stop judging books by its covers without even knowing what they are about.

Breja: Seriously though, I'm pretty sure you wouldn't ask this if I wrote an equally pointless post saying "yay, nice game". So the real question is why should one require justification and not the other?
No justification needed I was just curious if there's an explanation. In case you would have said sth. like "Nice, have been waited for it" I would assume that you already have yourself informed about the game and that you know what you are talking about. In case you would have said "Tried this on Steam and the game is just bland and basically only sex without any story" I also would not have said anything. Same would be if you'd said that you read reviews saying that ...." The way you post however makes it seem as if you never ever tried some of these games at all. You just continue to complain about them without having any real reason to do so other than not liking the looks or the theme of it. My curiosity is independed from the fact wether you like the game or not. For me it is more important wether you know what the game is about - or not.

Breja: I have no goal, I just dislike the crappy, bargain bin looking porn making it through the supposed "curation", and I consider selling walkthroughs in this day and age a bizarre cashgrab and I feel like saying so.
Thank you for the explanation. Yes, of course wanting additional money for a walkthrough is probybly critizism that is understandeable but you are still free to try to get this information using google and not paying anything for it. Seeing that most of these games are in a pretty low price range it is probably a way of offering supporters an option to support them even more ... but that is of course just an assumption from my side. Regarding the general idea of maybe needing a walkthrough to play a game that ia supposedly just about "sex" I'd lkike to add the following: Several of these games work like your classic RPG games and this one might not be different (did not buy it yet but it was this case with Being A Dik and Leap of Faith and Acting Lessons). So the "walkthrough" is helping you to see which decisions will lead you were and how to unlock special ecents ... similar tto many other games.

Also can't blame you for not liking the look itself but can you say that the game is crappy because of this as well? Or did you just mean that the game is looking crappy?

Anyway, thank you for answering my questions. I know that you did not need to do so. If you are feeling better posting these in similar threads go ahead - I won't stop you. I've said everything I wanted :)

Magnitus: But if so, they should totally cut to the chase and just make a decadent sex cult game... oh wait, someone already has and we're still waiting for the uncensored version.

Darvond: I'm sure the update for Cult of the Lamb will be along soon enough. ;3
I was thinking of Lust from Beyond, but as nsfw addon/verion of Cult of the Lamb would be downright hilarious :P.
Other than most other aduld VNs this one has some actual gameplay, even if it is a bit grindy.

Plastic look or not (some people like that, some don't), that alone makes it worth having.

Crappy free to play web browser games made it through that "curation", i believe we are at a point where anything goes.
True. We have by far worse games than this one on GOG in all looks, gameplay and theme.
