Warcraft 2 got it.
Very wishful thinking. Anything is possible but I wouldn't count on it. But then again we don't know what GOG and blizzard have in the works behind the scenes.
I wouldn't count on it. Anything is possible though in this beautiful world.
I dunno but they should release the classic version and let GOG do their thing even if they make a remaster, keep the remaster with DRM on Bnet and give us the classic drm free version. The game is 19 years old by now and as old as Baldur's Gate 2 so i wish they would try it.
Maybe Diablo 2: Skeleton Harder, but I'm unsure about the Battle.net components.

Rather not. Both Diablo 1 and Warcraft 1-2 landed on GOG because Blizzard is not planning "merging" them with remastered versions, like it was already done with Starcraft and will be done with Diablo 2 + add-on (basically because they won't make any remastered version of those games).

In other words - those games are not planned to be "merged" with strongly integrated with Blizzard's client remasters, but are still Blizzard's property, too "troublesome" to be sold in their own store (partially due to their policy of making remasters, but probably also because they're not willing to release patches anymore for those games), but here is the GOG's role - as external "hub" to sell those games.

It's just my guess, but I'm guessing that Blizzard is not very "DRM-free friendly" company, but those games (Warcraft 1-2 and Diablo 1) they've considered as so "expendable", that they can sell them "even" in DRM-free store (basing on the rule "we can't lose on those titles anymore, so might as well throw them to someone "outside". Plus the facts that GOG is adjusting old games to modern systems and have some faithful fanbase (group who is willing to pay for those games and is numerous enough to make profit).

Unlikely, they still sell a digital, Battle.net-infected version of Diablo II on their official store.

And Diablo 2 coming to GOG or not matter aside, it is going to be stuck in latest version, anyway. Sigh; misses 1.09...
Highly doubt it

The main reason the other games made it here was due to them not running on modern systems. Diablo 2 still runs perfectly on windows 10, Blizz still sell it, still has an active player base and a strong modding community
It's unlikely but I'd like it to happen and I'd buy it when it's released here.
They're going to have to open up some loot space. was not particularly large even with LOD expansion.

I'll just make some mules.
I would think given that Blizzard screwed the pooch on pc releases with everything except its now-active GOG catalogue, it's a good possibility to see the original version here, and the remaster coming to modern B.net in 2020-2021.

People keep saying it's on battle net but it isn't. It's using the original form of battle net it came with. Battle.net 2.0 is always online, and it doesn't have a category on there, to the best of my knowledge.

Same with Warcraft 3. I know they're releasing a new version, but the original version just had a cd key you entered on install, and yes it's for sale on Blizzard's site, but I could see it coming here, given that it does not require always online internet.

It's very possible depending on how much or how little Diablo 1 and WC 1/2 sell in the next couple months.
Oh, and just fyi: if you purchased the Collector's Edition of Diablo III at launch, like I did even if I mostly hate this game, there's a copy of the English version of Diablo II there as well...
