You really wouldn't. Trust me. It is a terrible follow up to the great series. It looks nice, but the gameplay is really bad and not very Disciples at all. And the Undead Hordes expansion is basically broken (not bugged, just bad design and balance).

I can see why people MAY want Postal 3 DRM-free. Postal 3 literally doesn't work on Windows 8.1 and later due to its DRM. Plus there is a much more important reason I will get to.

MORE IMPORTANTLY, the upcoming fan-made mod "Catharsis Reborn" looks like it would Postal 3 fun. The modders are doing a lot of work but need some help. If you now how to map in Source Engine then they may let you join them. I saw a post on their Twitter about it. Check out "Whackjob Interactive." They're the ones who are actually taking the time and effort to make Postal 3 a good game. Running With Scissors has actually expressed positively to Whackjob Interactive's efforts. Whackjob Interactive's Youtube channel also has some trailers showing off the mod. I'm not affiliated with Whackjob Interactive, I'm just really excited for their mod to fix Postal 3.

Similar (though certainly to a lesser degree) to Daikatana, enough people might be curious to see the disaster to make a release here financially worthwhile.

On the other hand, everyone curious enough might already own it on Steam.

I agree, despite its bad reputation we do need it here. I like to have a full collection of things. Also RWS treats it as a dream and pokes fun of it, so they ARE acknowledging it.
