Notifications (Email) for Updates of owned Games

Is it possible to get notification on games that I own?
Exanima is in Dev so I would expect to receive a notification if there are updates, news and so.
Especially on gog.com

EDIT: @gog: Thank you for adding a filter in the library to show updated games!

Current email notifications from the GOG website are for wishlist entries (when they go on promo), promotions, marketing announcements, and for "coming soon" games are released. I don't see a box for updates of games you already own.

For not-so-convenient alternatives: the soon-to-be-defunct GOG Downloader warns you if there are updates when you open it. I don't use Galaxy, but I guess it must have a similar feature. And of course, from your library page you can filter games with updates.

In addition to what ConsulCaesar wrote: simply log into your GOG account once a week or so, to see if any of your games have received an update. To do so:

Log in --> hover mouse over your [account name] --> [games] --> click on [my collection (xxx , xx updated)] --> click [updated]

Just be aware: as soon as you click on an updated game, the blue "notification dot" disappears - so make sure you either download the updated version immediately after you click on the game, or keep a spreadsheet/textfile at hand, in which you note which games got updated.
Else you may forget which game(s) got updates and miss out on downloading them.
Thx for the reply!
I dont login into gog that often but at least to see a game in my library with the blue dot is something.

And also I dont want a launcher like galaxy. I dont even have steam and such customer-enslaving environments.
Maybe galaxy is not of this category and more an convenience for the "power"-user but never the less.
Not sure this is a good idea. Its ok if you only have a few games, but when you get more, and particularly new or indev ones, it can quickly become a flood of update emails. Far better to go into the account once in a while and check yourself when you have time, rather than trying to manage coutless emails.

That's been there since well before this thread was created. ;P

Just be aware that the "updated" status (and the accompanying blue dot) on a particular game goes away as soon as you expand that game tile in your library. So if you want to check to see what the update is without necessarily downloading the (possibly) new file at that time, you might want to create a custom tag saying something like "Not yet downloaded", so you can mark a game and download it later (or not) without completely forgetting about it.

Also to add, it doesn’t always show updates, updates may not be updates (see galaxy features for instance) and rarely is there ever changelogs and definately no way to download old versions.
