It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Hello,

I am in the process of getting a refund and been trying to somehow contact tech support to see how this refund is going and ive heard nothing since. When I try to connect to the GoG tech support link I keep getting a 'not secure' error and can no way progress further. I tried to remove the S from the HTTPS and it worked but I was uncomfortable about this initial error.

I think the guys at GoG need to review there website because it gets real frustrating trying to use your website with all the errors and no way to progress further.

I have tried this with and without a vpn, with firefox and with google chrome as well and still the same.

Also, there doesn't seem to be anywhere on my account where I can quickly go to review any messages sent and received regarding tech issues and refunds. All I ever find is the page to report new issues, not existing ones already reported.

I get the same error

In firefox on the error page click advanced and then add exception.

They've Most likely not updated SSL certificate or the server clock is out.
@mechmouse
Thanks for the rundown, I already though malaware got me... hehe. Good to see I'm not the only one - Pheew.

Thanks for your reply.

All I get is this...

'Report errors like this to help Mozilla identify and block malicious sites'

support.gog.com uses an invalid security certificate.

The certificate is only valid for the following names:
*.zendesk.com, zendesk.com

Error code: SSL_ERROR_BAD_CERT_DOMAIN

I am also seeing that these posts are appearing on the forum page but the window where you type your post in is still showing on screen and still saying 'please wait'. The message is getting posted but the little window doesnt disappear when its sent to the website. All along I thought the site was traffic heavy. This site has issues. Btw, I dont get an option to add an exception. That's why I said I can go no further. There's no other options for me to use.

Cheers

Firefox won't let you since they're all about choice and giving their end users options and the full ability to control their experiences on the net. :)

I'm stuck around v30 because they removed a number of config options that were required for accessibility tools.

I just tried it with this Firefox v55 browser (*grumble*) and I (sort of) see the Add Exception... button right under the SSL_ERROR error at the lower right.

reedit: I've actually considered setting up a "Your SSL certificate sucks..." website. One of the banks I deal with, their certificate rates an F. For those interested in testing their own certificates, we use this test:

Posting a new post since I found a possible workaround:

Try this: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1164647
i actually can acess gog support with chrome, but it warns me that it is unsafe and constantly warns me not to use sensitive info such as my password and mail!

I'm surprised by that. I thought people assumed google was the least trusted, knowing google as they are.

Thanks all for your replies. Appreciate it heaps!

You're testing the wrong connection. It's support.gog.com and the problem is that it's a zendesk / gog certificate mismatch.

Reread the thread. The support address error has already been giving plus ssllabs won't test the subdomain since it's not correct and the test won't run. I was testing the main site just as an example and to show a working test.
