Since just before the 10th Anniversary Sale and site redesign (between last weekend and 28/09) I have not received any email receipts nor emailed gift codes, even when I click the "Resend Gift Code" button in my Order History. It seems a couple others have also noticed this: the_what_did_just_break_thread_20

I have contacted support, but am wondering how many others are experiencing this currently - how widespread is this? Not having email receipts for proof if needed is bad enough, but not sending or knowing if your Gift Code purchases have been sent nor having separate confirmation records (in case your acct records on GOG servers gets wacky) is troubling.

Is anyone else having this problem? Has anyone been missing their receipt or Gift Code emails in the past few days?
I bought 3 games yesterday, 2 for my own and 1 as a gift. Race the Sun (the second purchase) was the only one with the receipt delivered to my e-mail, 2 others only available at the order history. The gift code tested fine, but the resend gift also not working.
Oh, as an additional info they were all paid with wallet.

Bought Stellaris and a few DLCs yesterday and today - still no email receipts for both orders. :(

Good to note that ... mine were also paid for with wallet, and I never received the email confirmation of buying the wallet funds.

I bought games with online pay service, not with wallet.

Same here. Thr only receipt that I got in the last few weeks was for Bard's Tale IV when I redeemed my backer key. I did three other purchases in that time and also added some free DLCs to my account and didn't get any receips at all.

Edit: My Purchases were paid with a credit card.

Same here. I bought 4 games yesterday. Did not receive email confirmation from gog, but receive the payment confirmation from credit card, and the games appeared in library on GOG Galaxy. I installed and played one of them for some hours yesterday.
Today, the 4 games vanished from my library and for orders list, like I never bought them, very sad :(

If this is actually true, I highly advise you to get a copy of the payment confirmation from your bank and take this up with GOG Support, because it honestly just looks like you're trying to get 4 games for free... I mean, I've had this issue for a couple of days, now, but it's just the email receipts that I'm not getting, I lost no game from my library or the purchase confirmation from the Orders menu.

as tempting as it is, I'm NOT gonna buy anything until I hear this is fixed. I don't wanna be resorting to digging out my paypal recepit that only shows a total and not the full contents of the purchase of Stellaris and DLC. PLEASE FIX while stuff is on sale, GOG.
Thank you for your replies. It is apparent at least some of us are having this issue. I have a support ticket number thru automated reply - so I know that I can receive emails from GOG Support at least - but no answer or reply from a Support Tech yet. They are probably busy with the Sale and site rework. I will post here when I do get an answer.

Until this is solved I am taking screenshots of receipts on my Orders History page in case I need verification. I would suggest others might want to do this as well. Screenshots of our Order receipts may be the only proof possible for those of us who bought with wallet funds if a situation such as voomba described happens.

I have not had any purchases go missing as of yet. Definitely contact Support as soon as possible with proof of your credit card confirmation. Refer them to this thread if they need to know that more of us are also not getting the confirmation emails, although so far you are the only one I've heard of that is missing games bought through GOG.

Believe me I'd like this fixed ASAP also, but with the sale and the site revamp it is likely Support will be very busy. If you want Stellaris or other games at the sale price I would strongly suggest buying them and taking screenshots of your Orders History page showing your acct name at the top and the games bought. Also screenshot the receipt for those - you can find it on the pull down menu right next to the Order # in your Orders History list.

Same issue here. Haven't received receipts for 2 orders to my email.

One order is from the current 10 year anniversary sale, but I also noticed that I had not
received receipt for another purchase from 2 weeks ago.

Contacted support too, they said that they manually resendet the receipts to my email
but nothing arrived there.

While this issue is minor, I'd still love to have receipts to my email as well.
To clarify, you can always view your receipts here: https://www.gog.com/account/settings/orders
I would also suggest writing to Support, they can try to manually resend the confirmation e-mails :)

Hello Chandra, Thank you for your response. :)
As I stated above, I have opened a Support ticket and was able to receive the automated reply with ticket number. It seems currently that requests for remailing of Gift Codes and receipts are not working or arriving. Perhaps you could mention to Support and your back end team that more than a few of us are now experiencing this bug recently.

While I know that we can view our receipts in our Order History, that does not help if something unforeseen happens to GOG servers, or customer accts, I was taught to always keep independent records of receipts for legal proof. Currently I am taking screenshots, but I would like to track this down and restore my ability to receive receipts and - importantly - make sure Gift Codes I purchase are getting to their intended recipients.
I didn't receive email confirmation for my last order too (paid with card, so the payment method seems unrelated to the issue).

I can see the games in library, and I can see the order in orders under account, so only email was missing.

Will contact support too, but this seems to be somewhat large-scale issue, if so many are writing here?

ALSO today I went to gog site like I do daily, and I had the language switched to German, which I'm 99.5% sure didn't do myself... smells fishy. I did check the email address, password, and 2-factor, and I don't see any obvious signs of any attack, so considering the other shenanigans of the GOG web after the 10y I guess it may be just glitch in their code, overwriting some values in DB, and not hacker attack.

Does anyone else had similar issue, or is it just my account?

---- EDIT ----

Actually now I see it's possible to switch language by single click on bottom footer of pages, where all languages are listed, and there's no confirmation needed. Considering my recent issues with LMB on my touchpad, I think there's reasonable 10-25% chance of me myself switching language by accident while scrolling through the (after redesign ridiculously/annoyingly) long pages of GOG.

Actually I have had this happen myself on random occasions - as if the location code from the browser gets scrambled or isn't registering. So far I've had German, Russian, French and Chinese. I've tried to think of it as a new adventure game puzzle challenge to figure out how much I can decipher before restoring it to English. I'm rather disappointed I haven't gotten their native Polish yet though. :p
