WBGhiro: So basically cheap chinese knockoff transformers? Where's the appeal in that? other than the savings on the same plastic of course.
Actually not a "knock off" (it's not a copy or a slight tweak of an existing figure) & Iron factory figures are at least as good as the official figures assuming there was a direct comparison available So no it's not of "cheep" quality.
& the appeal? it's a unique & cute take on a character I like from a company that does good work.
Sorry if I sound "shilly" there.
Smannesman: Crack as in the drug or a woman's hooha?
Typically the drug, but which ever one you're addicted to.
I thank you for leaving plumber's out ;P
mechmouse: From what I've seen some are very well made, but again other are not.
To be honest some of the official transformers are down right shoddy and poorly designed.
It allows you to get designs that are no longer made, or never made.
The only reason I don't follow it that much, is it would be an expensive abyss I'd not return from.
Note: I've got a box of G1 UK comic. Starting 138.
I am picky I about which company I'll buy from
No argument here, Official doesn't always mean better
yeah, 3P can be pricey, one reason I pay more attention to the small scale figures over the larger sized ones
It's too late for me.
