It`s tragic too see that many people here don`t even know what a Leberkaas or a Leberkaas-Semmel is. To attract some attention for this delicious meal, I want to ask you to change your forum title to "Leberkaas-Semmel" or at least "Leberkaas".
I promise:
If you do that, you`ll get at least one step closer to heaven. Two steps, if you`ll eat Leberkaas every once in a while!!!

:-)

edit
But no title change, got to attached to mine. I'll try to get a proper leberkaas semmel to atone at lunch.

Only Bavarians could speak of Leberkaas-Semmel as a "delicious meal". ;-)

I will stay with cookies.

I've never heard of it before. Wikied it. Seems like it could be good, but I haven't the faintest idea where I'd get it in my area :P.

I guess I could try making it myself with the proper recipe.

Here`s one recipe:

But normally Leberkaas is without onions and garlic.

How do you eat it? Cut it up, add cheese and bread?

No cheese! You put it in a bun and eat it. There`s a picture of it in the Wikipedia article.
You can also fry it in a pan and serve it with fried eggs on top.

wait what? cheese fits fine, just use it instead of the fried eggs for example

plus you can call it Käseleberkäse :p

I did a google image search of Leberkaas-Semmel and I'm kind of disappointed. It just looks like some cheap bread and processed meat from Aldi/Lidl :(((

That's the kind of meal I make when I have to prepare my lunch beforhands when I'm working faraway, it's just "practical" but not tasty IMHO.
