JudasIscariot: Any game that we would release today would get overshadowed by TW3 so no release today :P
Not only that but lets be honest here. GOG could roll out new website code that made 90% of everyone's library shelf go missing for a week and nobody would even notice even if you changed the website code to default to redirecting to one's library. Seriously. :)

You guys could add a game with DRM in it today and even mention that and nobody would even notice. :)

Someone would :) I know the Linux guys would but they go through everything with a fine-tooth comb (speaking as a Linux user :P )

BillyMaysFan59: How about Thursday? :)

JudasIscariot: Maybe :P
I think it might be the other way around.
Tons of people are browsing GOG.com today and tons of people would see today's release, like "hey I came for Witcher 3 and bought this new game, too"

BTW ignore my """marketing strategies"""" and my usual daily crap, sir :P

BillyMaysFan59: Doesn't matter anyway, there's already a nice sale on the Nothing series (Nothing GOTY + Nothing II) 80% off.

JudasIscariot: And it runs smooth as butter on Linux too :P
Wait.. do you mean that nothing runs smooth on Linux? :P

Actually you're correct - secondary sales when theres a big release are highly profitable - but new releases definately dont get the exposure they normally would.

Nice way to explain things. For me, the main deal when it comes to this issue is launching something next to a sale.
God knows I'd love to launch something of mine - even classifying it as secondary, I think it's even cooler this way :) - next to something gigantic as TW3.
