Johnathanamz: Has there ever been any gog.com versions of video games where the video games got Twitch Prime rewards for the Steam versions and or the versions sold on other place?
I seriously hope this never happens to the gog.com versions.
You might be paying monthly for Amazon Prime / Twitch Prime, but I do not want the gog.com versions of the video games sold on gog.com to be infested with microtransactions sold in them.
I consider monthly subscriptions microtransactions as well with what Amazon is doing with rewards from Twitch Prime into the video games.
Yes there have been GoG games that allowed rewards from Twitch. The first one that comes to mind is Gwent. So I don't get why they can allow Twitch rewards for that game but not enable them for any others.
Also, this has nothing to do with transactions or micro-transactions either. This is simply a way for Twitch gamers to reward viewers with free in-game items for watching streams. It's a win for Twitch, the game studio and the streamers and costs us viewers NOTHING since it doesn't even require a prime gaming account. You only need a free Twitch account.
