Gog Mix was a very useful tool, even when it was with its problems.

I miss them too, a lot. I wish I could retrieve my own list.

A popular fan theory here in the forums (built reading between the lines of what the blues posted) was that some GOGMixes were causing big trouble with game publishers, and GOG didn't have the resources to moderate all of them (and in the case of the one they did moderate and delete, there was an outrage in the forum). We are talking about troll/offensive/aggressive ones. Think "Beamdog is the parasite of the industry" or "No Polish no buy".

Someone also mentioned that whoever first coded GOGMixes into the site isn't working anymore in the company, so keeping their code up to date with the rest of the site was problematic. Evidence supporting this is that a couple of months before being removed, GOGMixes got broken and couldn't be updated anymore.
