There's been a bit of discussion on the Elminage Gothic subforum.

(Apparently, it took a while between when EG was available on Steam and its GOG release.)

Different publisher, hasn't released anything here as of yet.

I don't know if Original is better but I could not get into Elminage Gothic.

As Grargar already mentioned, it's a different publisher so hard to know if it will come to GOG at all
