pds41: OP has caused a lot of confusion here with an emotive post, although it's good to hear that debit cards do actually work! Finishing the opening post with "This is why steam is the market leader seriously it just accepts debit cards..." didn't help matters either - as it both makes it look like he's asking about Debit cards and also makes it less likely that people will feel inclined to help.
It turns out he's upset because he's got a new account, never bought anything from here before, and can't buy a gift code. The FAQ covers this situation.
