It is now barely working but this is indeed sometimes a dilemma for GOG because they will need more buyers in order to get more money but on the other hand there is a server which can not handle even more buyers.

I can access both my account/library via the website and wishlist. I never finalize purchases on the first day of a sale because that's when hiccups are likely to occur.

...and now sign in is working correctly for me. I'd swear I was browsing the back to school sale yesterday (maybe early this morning) and didn't consider it was causing debilitating load today. ah well

Thanks, I just tried it and you're right it's working now. I just bought Ashes of the Singularity: Escalation which seems to be on sale at 90% off ($2.99), which I think is the lowest I've ever personally seen it.

Basically it was just one black and white text page, like when you open an encrypted file or something like that.
