In, what I would consider a surprise move, Fanatical now offers Nintendo Switch/3DS games to download:

https://www.fanatical.com/en/nintendo

The prices as of now are, well...Nintendo.

I guess it remains to be seen, if Fanatical will in the future offer lower sales prices than Nintendo does in its own online shop.

Honestly - if they don't, I kind of do not really see the point of selling (or buying) Nintendo games outside Nintendo's own "network".

Assuming you can afford a switch and Nintendo prices, why would you buy from a third party? Not saying it’s a bad thing, it’s just well, Nintendo.

Yeah, that's what I meant...if Fanatical aren't planning on undercutting Nintendo's own sales prices along the way, there's no real reason to buy "out of house".

Edit: typo

That was one of the first things that I checked: do the games unlock in Germany? - they do.

That wasn't the case with the Playstation bundles of the past.

I see Romania is there. Considering that I can't add Romania as a region, from Nintendo's official site when I create my account, I wonder how that works.
