Yeah, and they also said the Nintendo DS wasn't going to replace the GBA and look what happened. It's just PR bullshit, they're not going to come out and say the Wii U is dead in the water, if they did no one else would buy it. The Wii U has plenty of great games on its own right, most of which are likely to be ported to NX actually. If you don't care about HD remasters (can we even call them that anymore?), I'd say you can't go wrong with a cheap used Wii U.

If they drop to a cheap price when the NX comes out I'd be tempted too.
