I mean, just look at all this shit:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Psygnosis#Games_developed_or_published_as_Psygnosis

Destruction Derby, Drakan, Ecstatica, G-Police, Krazy Ivan, Lemmings, Rollcage, Sentinel Returns, Shadow Master, The City of Lost Children...

And that's just a few of the franchises Sony is (likely still?) just sitting and actually losing money on, due to renewing the copy-/publishing rights every X years.
If they only could be convinced that there's at least a bit of money to be made would they let GoG re-release as many of these as possible.
Never say never even though Sony seems unlikely, it never hurts to give them a call/email and see what they say.
Sony brought Horizon: Zero Dawn to PC so it is possible.
I hope

Jet moto 1 and Twisted metal 1 and 2 got pc ports
Yeah, Sony is sitting (and has been sitting for decades) on a lot of stuff which is unfortunate. They are most likely not even aware that they own all of it. And if they were, they probably would not care, especially about old games.

It is by far the #1 on my "The most unlikely things to happen ever" list.

A few years ago Sony's Jim Ryan was asked, during an interview, what were his thoughts on Microsofts efforts with backwards compatibility. His answer went like this: "I went to a retro Playstation event a few weeks ago and they were playing all those old games. Why would anyone want to play those old games, they look terrible". The very same Jim Ryan who is now chief of Sony's gaming division. So I don't like the chances.

Maybe in 10 years time when Sony goes the way of SEGA and becomes a publisher only, possibly- assuming GOG is still around in 10 years.

As for Psygnosis games, does anyone else remember Blue Ice?

The Lemmings series is one of the last old games from my childhood that i would instantly buy. So, get on to it, Sony :p

wolfsite: Sony brought Horizon: Zero Dawn to PC so it is possible.
I don't see them releasing any of their more recent first-party title ports DRM-free anytime soon.
Those make enough money on the platforms they're released on first/exclusively for Sony to even consider bringing them to GoG in the short- or mid-term.

All the old intellectual properties and franchises (like the Psygnosis ones) Sony's just sitting on and, as I said, actually loses money on (not that much, I imagine, but still) due to periodical renewal of the rights - there's more of a chance to see those pop up on GoG in the near future.
Provided that Sony can be somehow convinced that nostalgia=money for them. And that GoG would take care of the technical side of things, making sure that those old DOS and Windows ports work on Win7 and above.
