There was a new driver just released either yesterday or today by Nvidia. Try reinstalling the windows update, and immediately installing the Nvidia driver.

windows 10 I don't think has an option to rollback updates and re-install. There was a new driver released yesterday (game-ready for battlefront 2 and improved Destiny 2 performance). He tried updating his card and by that I assume the drivers were updated. Were they updated from nvidia? if so, your GPU may be on its way out. If that is the case, buy a new 1 sad to say.

I thought he was saying he updated Windows 10 yesterday, which caused his graphics to flake out. Was I wrong? Windows can be rolled back for certain updates, because of stuff like this.

yes they had a new graphic card update I was able to rollback my install till I found a solution.
the Windows update had turned the output color depth to max and i had to turn it down to 8 bpc in Nvidia control panel.

I was a little pissed off they stuck the viewer installer in there without asking me, but just so long as they asked me if I wanted to run the installer afterwords, I guess I'm okay.

Reminds me a little of the Galaxy thing going on now. We just all have to make sure we READ EVERYTHING! :P Miss the fine print and wind up with a hunk of junk that used to be your computer.

Glad you got it sorted. Sorry I really don't know much about tech stuff, I just guess what seems like it might work.

Have a good day!
