Anybody else find the new mobile website to be obnoxious and not tailored to mobile?

On the old website, I used to accidentally click on the games when scrolling down, but other than that it worked fine. On the new website, I can't see the progress bar for videos nor make the videos full screen and I've had to restart a few videos because I accidentally closed them. I do most of my browsing games on mobile and I was hoping the new website would be more mobile friendly instead it is less friendly compared to the previous website.
Ive experienced quite a few bugs and glitches myself, but they tend to sort themselves out.

Thanks! I hope they fix it.

The new mobile site is aweful. Scrolling and videos pop up and enlarge as you scroll. I thought i was on one of those site you sometimes hit when looking through torrents that you can't back out of even if you click the back button a thousand times. When did pop ups on a website become a customer choice. Looks aweful and if I'm not near a desktop I'll just avoid the site. I haven't seen the desktop version in a while so i can't say if it's changed or not.
high rated
And don't forget that now the new, "improved" look for the list of games has only wordless tiles without even the game's title. Because you supposedly has all the info you need from looking at a picture that is going to be repeated if the game has several versions or DLC.

Technically you can read the name of a game without following a link if you hover the mouse over one of the tiles. Wait, how do you do that on mobile again?

Seriously this new design is terrible for desktop and even worse for mobile.

It's hard to say, it takes forever to load. I am then stuck in German, with price in francs. Everything is all messed up, all over the place. And apparently there is new Star Trek releases, well it keeps flicking between that and the Gwent crap. Oh, and 404's all over the place. Astounding work, now it matches the lack of functionality on the forum.

Shhhh! Don't say that too loud, they'll go ahead and "fix" the forum as well. Can you imagine a forum with tiles everywhere? Maybe they'll do away with words on the forum as well, so in the future they'll implement a system where users can't type words, we'll just send tiles that feature Witcher artwork to each other, which we can then rate +1 or -1.

That's the dumbest thing I could come up with off the top of my head. However, I'm convinced that the webdev team will do me proud by coming up with something considerably dumber.

Ah, that's an easy prediction. Just take whatever gimmicky rubbish steam or one of the new age gamer pages are doing, then imagine the worst implementation of it. You will be near enough.

It's part of the reason why everything needs to be video now. Text is just so old man, get wid it, what you need is some youluber mewling over everything...

But is being mobile-friendly really a major concern? I'm sure that the vast majority of users who come to GOG's website are not looking for mobile games or even using a mobile device to look at the site. After all, does one go to the Google app store to look for the latest AAA PC game releases?

Not a store for mobile games, a web page you can open on mobile. I check the webpage and forum on the Ibone. That's what doesn't work anymore.

I know that "a web page you can open on mobile" was what is being discussed. I was saying that I doubt many people use mobile devices to visit GOG as compared to the number of people that use a computer such as MacBook, PC, or Linux machine to view the site. I know that I very rarely use mobile devices to view GOG's store and I don't think I have ever purchased a game using a mobile device on GOG's store.

What's the point, right? I imagine that like most people, as soon as I buy a game, I want to be able to download it and try it out. Can't do that with a mobile device.

Would be interested to see figures. I almost always look at the site on mobile, either being away at work or away from the country. I only login via main machine to download anything I brought or get updates.
The ability to view the web pages, like any other pages, and as it used to work, is the main way I will see any releases, visit forum etc. It's totally broken now. I am glad it doesn't affect you, but some people are not in front of a home pc all day.
Even saying that the new design is pretty rubbish on pc as well.

I bought all of my games on mobile. I see your point, but I don't have much time to play; which is why I use mobile to browse the deals. I probably should not buy as many games, but I'm a collector.
