Not to my surprise at all as I guessed it long ago, they went with DirectX12 only.

Time to pre order a rack of nvidia 3080ti cards!
There's going to be a boatload of Win 7 users that will be very unhappy to hear this. Not particularly surprised, but still.

For me it's a non issue. I just hope their support for AMD gpus isn't shite at launch.

Wouldn't that depend on how many shekels Nvidia threw at them. õ_0

ps, The game is also meant to be getting censored in Japan according to some sources.

pps, Gogs favourite human hamster is in the game with his own mission.

Does PlayStation use Direct X 12? I've always wondered how that works.

I guess it depends on how compatible out of the box they want CP to be. AMD has decent gpu solutions now that are on par with the 2070 and in some cases equal a 2070 S' performace (mid-upper range of current Nvidia gen).

I say that because I selfishly want my 5700 XT (AMD) to run the game flawlessly. It tends to do pretty well with modern games, but I'm finding stuff like Harbinger (2003) has display issues due to recent drivers.

They Did it they actually went with Direct x 12
I don't know if anyone has posted it before, but gameplay-wise they also ditched the wall-running feature.

I will try to find the source link where I read about it.

Being DX12 only... they killed any chance to run it on Linux in the near future.

The worst thing is that Vulkan renderer and Linux compatible code probably is already there since they will release the game on PS platforms and Stadia and they are just holding it off.

Just business I guess, especially when you do agreements with M$.
