Yesterday evening was released new game from HROT developer - named Shrot.

It's a game inspired by Paranoia, Czech "remake" (clone?) of Dune 2.

Unfortunately, developer answered, that game most probably won't be released on GOG (from official discord):

Can you copy-paste what he said? Just not financially worthwhile to bring because of GOG's tiny market share?

Buying HROT on GOG probably is a stronger convincer (is that a real word? Now it is.)

(haha! "HROT on GOG", sounds funny... I have to try that line somewhere, tell some stranger "I just bought HROT on GOG")

I have no idea who this developer is and what HROT or SHROT or GROOT is, so I checked the HROT gamepage. Seems like one of those "ugly on purpose" retro-FPS games with Doom-level gameplay?

The reviews seemed favorable though, they tend to be a good convincer (there's that word again! Arhg!) for me to buy games I don't recognize. It would be on sale now, I'll have to think about it as I've used so much money on GOG purchases lately and still have items on my wishlist I should buy, plus I am supposed to go to a local supermarket today to buy my very first Pop-Tarts:

So, it is either Pop-Tarts, or HROT-Tarts... decisions, decisions...

EDIT: Whatever, I just bought HROT, the reviews convinced me and it was on sale. Hopefully that Dune 2 clone (?) SHROT will come here too, as I am still a big fan of oldskool RTS games with resource gathering and shit.

EDIT2: Make no mistake, I am still going to buy Pop-Tarts too. And eat them too!

probably won't
I will buy both in bundle! Hey devs and pubs! You got my word. Or I will buy Hrot for 7 pounds , 10.09 is too dear. Anyway, looks pretty fine.
This game looked interesting, especially considering the fact supply of RTSes is not high. Well, if the developer prefers no sales from GoG than low sales from GoG, it is his decision.
Well, that's sad, but if it comes to GOG, I'll buy it immediately. I'm a sucker for RTS or strategy in general
