Its an old indie game probably from around 2012 but I cant be too sure, pretty sure I got it with a bundle. Its a point and click puzzle game where you're a reporter or journalist trying to figure out a death that happened in some old village in the past. the view is first person. Now here is where it gets annoying I can only remember certain scenes and impressions from it.
Now bear with me this is going to sound like a fever dream but I'm almost 100% sure this game existed.
I know it was set in winter, like a very old time-y Lithuanian village. The story is a bout a young boy who fell in love with a girl but she didn't love him back so he ended up killing her maybe? There was a windmill, hanging wooden dolls that you can turn around in a specific sequence to produce a musical note maybe? A dead raven that you poked to get a flower to sprout from it. A forest spirit/nymph that you had to feed your blood(sacrefice) too to get it let you proceed. You had to find spirits of dead babies to give to a kelpie (a horse like monster that lives in a lake) and it all ended with you summoning like a goat/man/devil and clicking on him to get him to show you his heart and then you had to click on the heart to get it to show you the future? which is actually the past from the players point of view since you're investigating this old murder so the player actually relives this old memory of the boy who went out on this journey to find out that the woman he loves doesn't love him back and that hell end up killing her for it.
I'm sorry is this doesn't make much sense I probably shouldn't be typing this so late but this game has been on my mind for a while and its driving me crazy that I cant remember what its called. Thanks to anyone in advance for taking the time to read this!
