pmcollectorboy: I'm drawing a blank on your yin-yang as a health bar game. The only mech game I remember for the PS1 was Omega Boost, which was on rails, but not side scrolling.
Game 5 really does sound like Battlezone. Either that or its clone, Stellar 7.
I honestly don't expect people to find game 1 and 4 simply because I remember almost nothing on them, minus what I think I remember.

After watching the gameplay again the sounds are starting to trigger my memory, especially when picking up gems. Maybe it was Assault Rigs and I'm just mixing games up in my head. For now I will assume it was Assault Rigs, I will probably have to play it again to remember it.
