LOL - I'd love to run that one by the wife, but since the CPU on tht rig alone costs more than my planned new gaming rig, I'll spare myself the agony.
If your budget for pc is $5.000 go for it.
Back in 1998, NASA (the US space administration) was using an intel 80386SX, even though Intel already had CPUs as fast as 450 MHz at that point.

Even as late as 2006, a spaceship was launched with a 15MHz MIPS CPU.

(Of course, there are reasons for using old hardware, and I note that the hardware has to be radiation hardened, which can put the price into the 5 digits (of US $).)

But there's a big difference between getting a tin can out into space and getting 60fps on Shadow Warrior, hardly like Apollo 5 has to keep track of loads of ninjas and things :op
There is a difference, but you don't need to expend so much for your rig

Consider that a GTX 970, or 980 can give you a quite solid performance and it won't cost you as much, i know, with my 970 oc edition (you know, the one tweaked by a third party that improve them a little bit) i get very good performance on all games

Sure, i may not set everything to ultra, but on high settings at 1080p i have no problem at all. Plus the newest nvidia card suffer from a lot of problems with drivers yet, check out the driver update forum and see it for yourself. Normally i would never suggest to buy a new graphic card as soon as it come out, wait a few months and get an oc version, usually are better and by that time driver are more stable

As for your cpu, you don't need an i7 for good gaming performance, a much smaller cpu is more then adequate. Consider i use an FX 8320e in my rig, and despite the naysayer, i can run pretty much every game with no problems

The only exception being engine optimized exclusively for intel logic cpu, and as no man sky showed with patches, a relatively small change in the code completely fixed that up

In the end it's up to you, but don't buy the lastest hardware as soon as it came on the market, it's overpriced and usually the difference with the immediately smaller model is small, or not relevant enough to justify the price

Yeah, you're not going to run Doom 2016 on Mars Pathfinder, but things like that just shows you that we can do amazing and awesome things with even the most simplest of computer hardware. We went to the moon with Apollo-era hardware using slide rules and computers that are comically simple compared to what we have today.

It sounds like you're not building this for a specific demand (e.g. a triple screen setup) but just because you find the current hardware market interesting (really?). In a situation like that it's a case of going for whatever you fancy so without specific questions there's not a lot to comment on.

If you want to be able to crossfire in the future, possibly a platinum 850w power supply. Get your ssd and hdd of preference. Probably 64gb-128gb of ddr4 ram of course, because 32gb is too low for NASA-grade. You'll need to buy a cooler for your processor because it doesn't even come with a stock one anymore (if it ends in K they expect you to overclock it, which you'd need an aftermarket cooler for anyway).

What type of case do you want? Big that fits everything or tiny power?

I build PC on single big screen and AAA games on Ultra High Resolutions.

I know i thinking about 6 x silent coolers. And if that is not enought i find something better.

You have right about drivers to new graphic cards but i want buy this computer for 3 months so i hope they do something with this. And if we talk about rest parts i want play on ultra high resolutions :)
