DreamedArtist: and I think I once heard from pat the nes punk's podcast say that there was a discovery of blank discs for recording and there are almost near perfect bootlegs are out there for these systems. I would really be careful nowadays with that systems games, same with Sega CD. House trap comes to mind.
A surprisingly common thing with Sega, it would seem. Even with the Dreamcast it didn't take long for people to realize that if you could find an ISO and had blank media, you could essentially have all those titles being sold at ridiculous mark-ups once the console crawled into the mainstream graveyard.
Of course, there's always going to be people milking the "must own original copy" crowd for as much and as long as they can. With more and more games like Night Trap and others seeing re-release hopefully people who want to own copies will just go the sane route, but then again it's hard to quiet that obsessive and nagging collector voice in one's head.
