And I cant fiddle with graphic settings, when I hit print screen there's no square on image in paint.... There's also no display option in control panel....Help please...
Can't play steam games, either.

EDIT: Shutting down and resstarting seems to solve this.

Well, I don't know what your issue is, however looking at screenshot 2 it shows you are using and evaluation early build of Win10. Is this some sort of dodgy copy or did you get this before launch and never upgraded? I would really recommend getting a fully licensed Win10 version, this white box for instance might be a broken notification box. However it's really hard to say. I do t think you will get M$ support on that version either.
It could also be something from your monitor. Some glitch causing one of its menus to get stuck. Do you see it outside Windows?
Maybe it's one of those covered files' fault..

Also.. Win 10 evaluation copy?

It's not an evaluation copy, it's a "wink, wink, evaluation copy". There's more piracy going on on that desktop than off the entire Somalian coast.

As far as the problem with the white square is concerned, the solution is this:

1. Set your desktop background to black.
2. Take a black, permanent marker pen and fill in the square.
3. ???
4. Profit!

There were various versions of beta and the like before Win10 officially launched and Microsoft did their shitty Malware push to try and get as many systems switched to Windows 10 a while back. Not that i care about 10.
I'm un Windows insider program. My copy of windows is genuine.

It would be one step less if he just set the desktop background to white.
