THough saying that there are plenty of Brain Dead individuals walking and talking, mostly in politics.

Perhaps not "recent events", as such, but more "the current situation". It seems the souls of the recently dead are not being separated from their bodies, for some reason, so they continue moving around rather than peacefully staying in their graves. Some say they have even started demanding rights more equal to those of the living.
