toxicTom: Your childhood?

Damn I feel old...
Took the words right out of my mouth. Those were the games that defined my time at university.

Now I feel really old.

My childhood is sitting on a cabinet in my gaming room - a PS1 and three breadbin C64s. I had one of the old flicker-switch Atari 2600s (the ones that looked like they were made of wood) as well when I was VERY little...
I could only find a few readily. Most important one from adolescence is on there though.

As I am "only" 30, i never had the chance to play With C64 and Atari. But I envy you for having owned and played with them.

I had the NES 8bit and the PS1 tho.

Is it wrong of me to say that I feel all giddy, when seeing those floppy disks? :) Nice Collection.

I wish I still had the games of my childhood. No idea what happened to most of them. Still, they came on floppy disks, no way I could even use them now.

fablefire: Your childhood wasn't awesome. It was incredible.

Also, fellow Pro Skater fan?

RaggyRock: Pro Skater and SSX are the only sport-related games, which I love :D

Elmofongo: I own mostly Blizzard Boxes and games (When it comes to PC game cases with stuff in it, Blizzard was the KING)

I got Diablo Battlechest which also has Diablo 1

Stacraft battlechest.

Warcraft 3 Battlecest.

I got none Blizzard games in disc like Mechwarrior 3 and Rise of Nations Gold.

I used to have Battlefield 1942 CDs, Half Life GOTY box, Call of Duty 1 on PC Disc aswell.

RaggyRock: I have a boxed copy of Starcraft 1, Warcraft 3 + expansion and Diablo 2 + expansion somewhere.
Did your Diablo 2 Battlechest came with a Diablo 1 disc?

I have a ton of blank ones and ones with old homework assignments on them, lol. I even have a bunch of blank 5 1/4 inch disks. One day they'll come back, and i'll be ready!

Heh, I'm still a couple of years away from 30 and I did grow up with all that stuff. Still have an Atari 2600 and an Amiga 500 in the attic at my parents' place, also many friends had machines like C64s or Spectrums at home in the early to mid-90's. And that was in Germany.
