Does anyone know of a free MP4 playing program? Windows Media Player doesn't seem to be able to do it, and my copy of MP4 Player has expired.

I want one that I do NOT have to pay for and I do NOT have to register. Is there one that I can install and it won't expire? Thanks.

The program I usually hear people recommend for stuff like this is VLC. No clue if it does MP4s or not, but probably.

Windows Media Player should do it, if not it may need reinstalling. Otherwise VLCcan play mp4. You may also be able to use your browser to play videos on your computer: right click > open with > YOUR BROWSER. I know this works for Firefox.

Well as for the Firefox solution, when I open in Firefox it just says I can save it or open it in MP4, which like I said doesn't work.

So I'm downloading MPC-HC because it looks like the best for what I want.

I use PotPlayer for videos.
