Hi all,

I'm currently in the process of cleaning up stuff on my computer. Games that ended up being installed on the C:/ drive now need to go to E:/. And any non-game applications that I previously installed on the E:/ drive, should actually go where they belong, on C:/

As a result of the above, I would like to move my Galaxy Client, too. The question is: how do I do this the easiest, without losing access to all currently installed games?

Thanks in advance for any answer any of you might be willing and able to offer.

============================================================

Edited to add: Oh never mind... I took a chance, uninstalled and reinstalled, and everything is fine.

One thing is disappointing, though: When I was moving stuff around that I got from Steam, and I asked question about it in the Steam community, I had my answer within 2 minutes. Here, I waited an hour and still had to find out on my own.

So, don't mention it for not making any effort at all to help. It is not at all appreciated.

Best regards,
Bobo

Problem solved without help. Thank you all for nothing. :D
I DON'T CARE IF YOU FIXED IT YOURSELF, I STARTED TO TYPE THIS 10 MINS AGO SO I SEND IT ANYWAYS :)

I would say:

- Uninstall Galaxy from C

- Move games from C to E

- Reinstall Galaxy on E
Only uninstall and reinstall it because it not that big, and simply moving it maybe fucks some things up

- Add games manually from E to Galaxy
1.) Try Scan first:
In Galaxy -> GOG.com icon in the upper left corner -> SCAN AND IMPORT FOLDERS -> Select the folder you moved your games
(It should add all the games)

2.) If that doesn't work:
In Galaxy -> Open your LIBRARY in the top menu between Store and Community -> Click on one the picture of one game you moved -> MORE button next to the install one -> Manage installation -> Import folder
(You need to add games one by one)

- If a game doesn't work delete and reinstall it

That's all fine. Thank you.
Moving the games wasn't the problem; all games were already on E:/ . The problem was that I had put Galaxy on E:/ as well. But although Galaxy gives me convenient access to all the GOG-installed games, it is NOT a game itself, so it actually belonged on C:/. So all I had to do was to uninstall Galaxy from the E:/ drive, and reinstall it on C:/ THAT is something that I had already figured out. I'm not that stupid, regardless of what they've told you! :D

The only issue for me was, that I didn't know if it would still find all the games after such a move. THAT is what I wanted to be clear about before starting, and why I asked for help/information. And in the end, I figured it out myself, and found that it was no problem at all.

But anyway thank you for chiming in.
