It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).

Hi I've looked but can't see anything about moving games/settings/etc from the original folder to another location on a different disk.
Any suggestions or procedure?
Really depends on the game - over time, save locations and data locations have moved quite considerably - some will have it in the base directory of the game, some will use the User folder. Others may have registry keys.

You'll need to go game by game. I'd suggest hoovering up the settings/saves first and then uninstalling the game and reinstalling on a new disk. This way, you take a copy of the saves/settings in case anything goes wrong. Then, you uninstall and reinstall somewhere else to make sure you have registry keys pointing at the new location.

PCGamingWiki is quite a good resource to point you in the direction of save folders. Example:

https://www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Overlord_(2007)#Game_data

Note that if you have any Games For Windows Live games installed and are moving to a new computer (e.g. retail copy of Bulletstorm, Arkham Asylum, F1 2010), you'll need to make sure you find all of your GFWL settings and userIDs before moving to a new computer. And yes, GFWL games do still work if you create an offline profile.
yea just grab the folder in windows explorer and plunge the directory anwhere you like

if you use gog galaxy with enabled cloudsaved do not forget to add the new game directory to the directory list of galaxy

if you proceed manual search online for the gamespecific safe folder and copy the saves to a specified directory

Don’t. I know other suggest it is possible, and galaxy can rescan. But from my experience the best method is:
Store the offline installer, this is compressed so saves space, and contains all the items needed for install.
Store offline your saves, and profile if need be. You can have many copies, manage, and keep these then.
Uninstall from location 1.
Install to new location.
Copy in saves and profile.

In this way you have copies of everything and can keep those for the future, doesn’t take as much room, and you can be sure it’s all setup correctly. For instance, you would need to check that directx, cpp extensions and any of packages or references are present. Becomes even more problematic with mods.

nightcraw1er.488: Uninstall from location 1.
Install to new location.
Or just make a symbolic link.
Here's a tool to do it without command prompt: https://archive.codeplex.com/?p=dirlinker
