I know this has been asked before, but nothing seems to be working.

I copied all game files to my new SSD (and kept them in the original place as well, just in case) Then I changed the installation folder to the new drive. New downloads come in fine no problem, but Galaxy still wants to use the versions of the games on the old drive and won't recognize the new copies or let me change the location of the game files.

I tried 'Scan folders for GOG games' and it always says 'No games found' no matter what folder in the new GOG directory I send it to.

An older reddit post suggests that I should be able to go into the individual games pages and choose a new installation folder through the 'Manage Installation' menu, but that no longer seems to be an option in the drop-down.

I have no idea what else to try. Am I missing something? Do I really have to re-download all the data again because it won't let me change the location of a game that's already downloaded?

Hm, always worked for me but i don't think i've kept them in the original location. Maybe Galaxy just recognises them as already installed (in the old location) and doesn't add them a second time? I'd delete one from the original folder and try again.
With galaxy closed, move the installation folder, for example c:\example to d:\example. Don't copy it to the new folder, move it to the new folder. There's no option in the drop down menu because you left the original installation. It verifies if it's there or not when you start galaxy, which is why you have to do this stuff while it's closed.

Open galaxy and find the game you moved in your library.
