Some games are just a labour of love. But even that isn't enough, the love that is laboured for needs to be similar to your own desires. This game is astoundingly good. Like the original Mount and Blade it's a time machine but not only that, it has some of the most satisfying battle mechanics ever seen in a computer game. It makes you want to play it on hard so you can feel even better when you win that tournament.

I never buy early access games because I don't like paying to be a tester, but I made an exception for this one. The first Mount & Blade was so good that I would even have donated money to the devs just to help give them the resources needed to make a new one. I haven't played it much yet as I would prefer to wait until it's finished, but it certainly looks like it's going to fulfill expectations so far.

I plan to check this out. Loved the first one. At least Horse Bow Raiding party is still there. That should be fun.
